Summary:

This is actually a review for the .75x wide angle Tiffen lens, w/ 43mm threads. In a nutshell, it has worked great with my Olympus C-2040. I use this lens for a job I have taken pictures for a real estate magazine. Good optics, and crisp, clear pictures. The ONLY thing that you might have trouble with is using it indoors w/ a flash. There will be a dark spot in the bottom left of you picture. Other than that, a great lens

Strengths:

Good optics. Clear, sharp pictures. Wide angle, but not really distorted or "fish-eye"

Weaknesses:

A tad on the heavy side (but that is why it has good optics). Won't work with flash indoors.

Summary:

This is a reasonably priced wide lens that yields great results. I bought this Tiffen .56x wide lens for half the cost of the Nikon wide lens which is only a .7x

Strengths:

I don''t see any distortion even out to the edges of my images.

Weaknesses:

I can''t really identify any.
