from B&H Summary: This filter is usually on my lenses at all times. In addition to removing the blue cast from outdoor photos, it also provides protection for the front element of my much more expensive lenses. Although some may argue that filters reduce the optical quality of the photo, I can't see any degradation with this filter. It's well made and optically transparent. Strengths: High manufacturing and optical quality Weaknesses: Somewhat pricey, but you get what you pay for. Similar Products Used: B+W polarizer
