from FotoFun foto source Summary: This filter I got for a bargain!
I have a one with a 52 mm thread.
It had some stains on the outer surface, but they came off with a lens cloth and fluid. Other than that, it was in very good condition.
Strengths: It works just as a circular polarizer should, by twisting a ring, reflections can be easily eliminated. It also darkens blue skies and increases overall contrast and saturation. The intensity of the effect can be adjusted too. Weaknesses: None, really.
Just watch out when turning the filter's ring, because its thin profile can cause a finger to appear in the photo. Similar Products Used: Pentax SMC skylight filter.
