Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $725.00

Summary:

In my humble opinion, the BEST lens for the ETRSi! Sharp as a razor, great contrast, and it is small, not much bigger than the standard 75mm lens. With a 3.5 aperture, it is plenty fast. I use it for portraits, I recommend a lindahl type lens shade (the 150mm Bronica lens shade is okay but once you use a drop in filter system...you can't go back).

Strengths:

Fast, sharp, contrasty, lightweight, fairly compact and since it has leaf shutter...it syncs through ALL shutter speeds and the PE has half stop clicks. I like it better than the heavier and longer 180 PE.

Weaknesses:

Absolutely none!

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $750.00 from photosamar

Summary:

Having used this lens for a couple of years now,I can happily report that the more competent I get at photography, the better the results I`m getting. It is sharp from fully open to f22 and has been utterly reliable. The same applies for the pe75 and pe150.

Strengths:

easy to use, sharp, uniform colours across 50,75 and 150 lenses.

Weaknesses:

The leaf shutters make them as expensive as cheap af-645 lenses(Pentax).
