Kiev Arsat 250mm f/5.6 Reviews

Smaller and lighter than the 250mm f/3.5 lens, this telephoto lens can help you more easily grab those sports and nature shots.
  • Aperture range: f/5.6 to 32
  • Min focus: 98.4 inches (250 centimeters)

    Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:I am very disappointed with this lens for my Pentacon Six, as it vignettes heavily wide open. Given that is an f 5.6, this is not acceptable.

    Strengths:leightweight, cheap

Weaknesses:vignettes way too much to be a useful lens for 6 x 6 cm format.

    Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $200.00 from Kiev USA

Summary:Really excellent lens. Very sharp, even wide open. Smooth focusing and aperture. I've not found the small maximum aperture to ba a problem for focusing, other than the split image in my Kiev 60 will black out. I also use it with a Contax 645AF and Kodak 645C 16 megapixel digital back, excellent results again!

Strengths:Great resolution at all apertures. Light weight. Good construction.

Weaknesses:Small max aperture will black out the split image rangefinder.
