Strengths: Excellent range of focal lengths for portraiture. Instant switch from AF to MF with push/pull of lens barrel.Weaknesses: Some might find it to be a little heavy. AF isn't lightning fast but it isn't a detriment.Bottom Line: Very pleased with this lens. Was a Hasselblad enthusiast for last 28 years. Went to the 645AFD for its Digital capability. Recently bought a Kodak 645 DCS Pro Back at a great price, now I have died and gone to heaven. I have the same multiplier issues I had with my D1X but no worries to date. Now I have a 158mm-315mm zoom lens. 100mm-200mm zoom in 35mm lingo. This thing is sharp as you could possibly want a portrait lens to be.
