Its natural focusing effect suppresses the foreshortening typical of telephotos while still isolating the subject. Excellent for a wide range of situations, and particularly for portraits. Super low-dispersion glass assures good contrast even for close-ups. The internal focusing mechanism makes handling easier, with no change in the balance between overall lens length and weight.
