Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $2399.00 from Vistek Cameras Toron

Summary:

I have used this Lens to capture pictures of people, being Brides, Grooms, Babies, Children Etc. Great for Parties, Sports, Weddings and other People Functions. The 1/30th Sync. doesn't bother me, Outside I use no Flash, inside Flash Okay at 1/30th. I use this Lens alot at Wedding during the Night and I find I get Great Candits with the Zoom. I also own the 45mm for Large Groups.

Strengths:

I find the Lens Very Sharp from 100mm down to 55mm. 99% of my work is people and usually at Functions, the Zoom is Fantastic and Makes Me Work Fast. I get some unusual Candits. The 6 X 7 Negative is Great. If I have to Print 10 x 10's I just Photograph everything Horizontal and leave a Little Extra Space on Both Sides. II receive beautiful Portraits from this Lens.

Weaknesses:

Most Photographers that I let use this Lens find it Heavy. I use it Hand Held most of the Time. For me the Weight is Okay and thats because the others are not used to the Lens.

Similar Products Used:

None. I have only used Hasselblad Fixed Lenses, which I still do.

Customer Service:

Never Needed It.
