    Strength:

quiete sharp, good contrast, small and light

    Weakness:

maybe f2.0 could be usefull in low light

Good and cheap lens; very natural rendition of colors; with 645 not bulky at all.

    Strength:

Very sharp lens. Affordable, light, and very contrasty. Fast and the auto focus works great

    Weakness:

No weaknesses other then I wish Pentax also comes out with a 80mm lens.

This lens is really good and I would put it up to anything from any other company. Highly recommended and a sweet one from Pentax. You can do a whole wedding with this lens alone.

    Strength:

light in weight and excellent image reproduction

    Weakness:

    screw-in lens hood, not convenient

It really produce excellent images with good flare control and I never come across flare to take sunset photo with this lens.
Light in weight and comparaly small in size, easy carry when travelling.

    Strength:

Excellent on the focus uptake. Light. Contrasty. VERSATILE!

    Weakness:

None when used for the purpose a 75mm is intended for.

This was the first lens for my 645N, and I was concerned because I couldn't afford the zoom. It is amazing what you can do with just this one lens! Pictures are sharp, high contrast. 2.8 great for low light, and it doesn't weigh your camera down. Big groups in tight spots? you'll need a wide angle; Head shots? you'll need the 150mm or 80-160mm. Everything else -- you need this lens !!

    Strength:

    Excellent optics
    Excellent mechanical construction
    Fast autofocus
    Easily switched to manual focus

    Weakness:

None - when used within its performance parameters

This is a great little lens. It delivers consistently clear images, correctly exposed when used with the 645n. Unless one is doing some specialty work, this is certainly the first lens to buy to go with the 645n.

    Model Reviewed: SCMP-FA 645 AF75mm f/2.8

    Strength:

Grat sharp lens, good contrast, quick auto focus

    Weakness:

    not really

Although the lens produced sharp photos with good contrast, if you got close up as in a portrait during a bridal dance "b&g" the lens would get a slight fisheye effect that my brides did not enjoy.
