Review 2 of 4

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

Be careful when ordering from PEphoto. This appears to be a questionable business.

On Dec. 12, 2007, for the first (and last) time, I placed an order with PEphoto for over 200 prints. This site has a "fit-in" function that allows the entire photo to be printed. I specifically look for this option as I crop many of my photos. (I have been disappointed in the past with prints missing body parts.) I checked the box, requesting the ENTIRE order be printed in this manner, using their fit-in function.

When I received my order.... 12 DAYS LATER ...none of the 200 photos were printed using the "fit-in" function, and as a result, many prints were missing important parts of the photos. When I contacted Lisa from customer service she informed me that their "fit-in" function was not working and it was stated on their site. I would now be required to "jump through hoops" to get what I originally ordered and paid for. She informed me, " all your images came already cropped (not true) therefore cannot be corrected. however if you like please send us the images using ftp link and I will be more than happy to redo the work with possible 2 white borders if sending the images please name the folder #255799 redo function where I will receive the entire photo , not a cropped copy, where parts of the photo are cropped off."

For the record, It WAS NOT stated on their site on Dec. 12. I would not have been able to check the box indicating my request if that were the case. Secondly, I have no idea what she is telling me I must do to receive what I originally requested. I am now dealing with the Better Business Bureau as Lisa no longer responds to my e-mails.

I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for a complete re-do of my order, or refund my $19.41.

Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $200.00 from online

Summary:

I was very pleasently suprised. I ordered 200 8x12's to put together some composite proofbooks. The order was shipped to me in a very timely manner for only $6.95 via US priority mail. I was suprised to see the prints were made on Kodak Endura paper. $1.24 for Kodak Endura is a deal - places like mpix are $2.99 for a 8x12. I'm not sure if everything is done on Endura at these prices I'm definetly going to try to use them for other prints.

Strengths:

They used Kodak Endura paper for my 8x12s.

Weaknesses:

Some of the prints were a little bit dark - but not where it was a huge deal at all.

Review 4 of 4

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

I am using PEphoto for about a year now the picture prints are very good, the color is crisp and sharp the paper quality is great in terms of texture and thickness. I used snapfish and shutterfly before and this service is much better.

Strengths:

1. Price Price Price... 8 cents per print.. enlargments are great too..
2. Easy to use software

Weaknesses:

1. Limited function of the free software

Customer Service:

No answering machine and real person service. I remember one time I placed an wrong order, just need to give them a call then they can cancel and credit back my order instantly. GREAT!
