Review 1 of 7

Price Paid:  $0.00 from PhotoAccess

Summary:

Overall a great company. They allow you to choose your crop and borders. Some companies you have to add them on via PS. I have ordered quite a few prints in the past from them and never had any problems. They are a bit high priced, especially if you use A&I prints. Quallity has always been very good!

Strengths:

Quality is great, fairly fast. Uploading software available makes uploading groups of photos fairly fast (depending on connection speed) Unlimited storage space for no extra cost.

Weaknesses:

A bit pricey

Similar Products Used:

Walmart online/instore digital proccessing

Customer Service:

Not used as of yet

Review 2 of 7

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

Photoaccess is a gem ...while other sites like snapfish, ofoto etc have done the bait-n-switch with free storage and then charging or limiting it, PA has kept their business model. Mac users rejoice - PA's software is excellent and consistent. Their printing is SO much better than others -snapfish, ofoto etc.. Customer service is great - via e-mail and always offered refunds - no questions asked!

Strengths:

Free unlimited storage Photogallery - not available with others - atleast to date. Responsive to feedback Good customer service Great Mac support and software!

Weaknesses:

Little pricey on prints... Some of my friends have reported slow display refresh in slideshows

Similar Products Used:

snapfish shutterfly ofoto

Customer Service:

Excellent Responsive No questions asked refunds...

Review 3 of 7

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

I spent hundreds of hours researching and tyring different online developers. I am very happy to have found photoaccess. The pictures are very sharp and the color is accurate. They offer digital size prints and will print on matte paper if you choose. I have submitted tons of orders and they are very very consistent with their quality. If you have problems you can email them and they will either credit your account or give you your money back without having to mail back the prints.

Strengths:

sharpness, color accuracy, matte print option, no-crop option, affordable and consistant.

Weaknesses:

They just raised their prices (still competitive)

Similar Products Used:

Walmart photo (very good too, but only offer matte prints), Ofoto, Shutterfly, Dotphoto, Clubphoto

Review 4 of 7

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

Ofoto has been my favorite online printing service for more about two years. The feeling with them is mixed. There are sometimes that I feel the prints are great. But most of times, I have the color problem with skin tones. I was convinced to believe that I messed up with white balance after I called their customer service. However, after a recent experiments with ofoto, ezprints and photoaccess. I decided to dump ofoto. And I am glad and proud to say that I discovered PHOTOACCESS as the winner of the all three highly claimed online printing services. Ofoto: a. apply some sort of automatic correction which will offset some of your efforts b. some major color shifts. For example, the green leaf can even turn to yellow-green!!! And even with untag, the skin color is still having problem. The winner is Photoaccess. I did not like this one at all in the beginning because I called three times and could not get a hold of their customer service. And their web display of photos are poor. However, the 4 sets of prints came back and totally surprised me. Here are what I found: a. It seems they do not apply some annoying automatic correction. For example, the sets with and without digital V have real difference in color saturation, while ofoto's colors look the same due to some correction applied. b. The colors produced by photoaccess are very very accurate. The colors that I particularly had problems with ofoto are green and white. I was amazed by the white wedding gown that photoaccess produces! And the green is so accurate too! c. Details!!! Photoaccess prints have noticeable much better details than ofoto by observing the wedding gown fabric! Both photoaccess and ofoto prints are A LOT sharper than ezprints. But photoaccess has more details AND the colors are clear and do not mess up. For example, the wedding gown color in ofoto's prints shifted to something close to one's skin tone. But photoaccess' colors have strong contrast and do not mixed up with adjacent colors. See my web site: www.pengrus.com for the photos I refered to in the experiments

Strengths:

1. Accurate and excellent color 2. Details and sharpness, significantly better than ezprints, marginally better than ofoto 3. Fuji archive paper 4. View large image 5. Do not require registration when you share with other people 6. Matte option at the same price 7. Unlimited space, no time restriction 8. For pro photographer, additional feature available

Weaknesses:

the web displace is not the best web site a little slow but the prints are excellent, and that's enough!

Customer Service:

average - good

Summary:

I LOVE PhotoAccess! They're working with USA Drug, a local drug store to help people get prints of their digital photos. I signed up thru usadrug.com and got 20 free prints. I now store my digital photos online, can have my friends see them, and if they want prints they can order online too. It's convenient, fast, and I can pick up my prints at the store when I shop, or have them mailed to my home. The quality is beautiful and there's no funny crop marks, like on some prints. I think this is a great service. If they don't have a partner in your area, you can do same thing at www.photoaccess.com

Strengths:

convenient fast immediate delivery great prints cool merchandise for gifts

Weaknesses:

pricing of prints is a bit high, but they're competitive

Similar Products Used:

ofoto shutterfly

Customer Service:

immediate
