Price Paid:
$35.00 Summary: Choosing a site to host your photos is not an easy task. I have gone through flickr, photobucket and also surfed over the other sites before finally decided to host my photos in Smugmug.
Take the time to consider all reviews before deciding. Browse the websites and sample pages. If in the end you decide to use Smugmug, you may use the coupon code H55tBtTtuqC5I to save $5 off registration.

Strengths: The most important factor that i considered was being able to password protect my selected galleries. I have a number of family photos that i would like to show only to my family and friends. By providing them with passwords, they are able to view my photos without registering. In contrast, Flickr required registration.
The cost is reasonable. It is definitely not the cheapest, however i feel that it is the best in terms of value for money.
The site is most suitable for those who have a mixture of public and private photos, and would like to control who can view selected photos
Weaknesses: The community is not as active as Flickr. However you can still maintain a free account with flickr to take advantage of the community side of it. (Unless you wanted to share more than 200 photos) Customer Service: The customer service is reputedly to be among the best. However i haven't had the need to use it yet. The help section is very informative
