Best, most convenient point and shoot I''ve used. Great for people shots. Been taking pictures and using Nikon cameras since I was 6 years old, daughter of a Nikon purist (SLRs, P&S, etc); I''m now 23 and have gone through 2 Nikon One Touch 100s these and am about to purchase my 3rd through the aftermarket since they are no longer readily available on retail. I never really appreciated the red-eye reduction ability in this camera until I noticed that in group events, I''ve compared my pictures to the photos my friends have taken with THEIR point-and-shoots (you know, the group shots where the same picture and pose is taken with different cameras), and this camera has consistently taken the BEST pictures of the bunch--even light-eyed or blue-eyed subjects. Evaluated roll after roll and this camera has outperformed other P&S. Picture quality is crisp and clear and sharp despite low quality film, blue skies turn out a beautiful CONSISTENT blue, skin tones perfect. Fast shutter speeds mean amateur photographers who shake the camera while pressing the button will still usually take a clean pic. Makes this a trusty camera. Rugged: dropped the camera several times to no bad effects. Life of camera is about 7-10 years.

Model Reviewed: One Touch 100

Strength:

The Nikon One-Touch 100 has served me very well for over 6 years, with no mechanical or electrical problems. It consistently produces perfectly-focused pictures with razor-sharp images that are correctly exposed. Color rendition is excelent, with vivid colors and just the right amount of color saturation. Skin tones (white, bronze, and black) look very natural.

Weakness:

None

I like this camera very much, and for a simple P&S in its price range, it can’t be beat!
