Weather resistant is an understatement. The camera has a reasonable range of functions, I use the infinity lock and no flash extensively. Camera "remembers" the previous setting when auto power down shuts off the camera. Good contrast and saturation even with 800 ASA film. Flare seems to be very limited. Plastic lens cover has remained scratch free over the years. Macro shots come out well. The flash is coupled to the lens focal length to get the most out of the internal unit. Flash exposure works well.

Pictures are a bit soft (but not for a typical zoom point and shoot). I use 800 a lot so as to have the program use a higher aperture. A bit bulky but it is a water proof. Changing functions as flash and film advance settings are a bit cumbersome being located on the side with small buttons. Wished they had a 28mm instead of the 38mm wide focal length.

This is the predecessor to the 95wr and is probably 5 years old. Purchased used but I carry it for outdoor shoots with other film (as 800 or 1600 ASA). Product as labeled in pop photo is a "slopmatic" and is capable of withstanding incredible abuse as New Years Eve celebrations (it "cleans up real nice")and of course the elements. I use it a carry and shoot in the car and on photo ops as a quick film camera back up.

Good and sharp lens, accurate passive AF, good exposure, strong and even flash, really watertight and sturdy, controls well laid out

Slow lens, wide angle to 28mm would be nicer, rather big, red eye can be a problem, even with red eye reduction

Excellent outdoor camera that consistently produces excellent results. Very good AF. IMO the lens compares very favourable with most point&shoots. It does, however, not perform as good as a good reflex lens. Softness at the edges (on 10' enlargements) and some distortion can be noticed. Vignetting is moderate (good for a P&S). For best results use fast film (400 ASA +). A nice feature is the panoramic mode, although I'd recommend it more for group shots than landscapes.
