Strength:

None.

Weakness:

Doesn''t always work. Focus and exposure often failed. This camera tries to do too much in such a small package. I was warned not to buy a camera with too many bells and wistles, it''s true!

Don''t buy this! This camera ruined two important trips'' pictures. Brought back to store after each trip. Samsung refused to give me a new one dispite the store declaring my camera a "lemon".

Customer Service

The worse. Samsung never replied to my letter requesting a new camera.

Strength:

Sharp pictures.

Weakness:

Poor light balancing. Have to use backlight or fill in 60% of time. Not weatherproof. Some water got into camera and battery contacts started to rust.

Sharpness is superb.

Strength:

size, cost, picture quality, ease of use

Weakness:

If size is what you want, with excellent quality, but at a reasonable cost, this is the camera for you. I thought that the Leica Minilux and Contax were way above my budget. I wanted a full SLR, but didn't want to carry it.

After lots of research, on the net and in the stores, I chose this. I have taken pictures and am extremely pleased at the sharpness. The camera has a German lens (if that helps), is very easy to use, has many features, and currently comes with a free 3 year warranty.

I think I am in picture taking heaven right now !
