Price Paid: $8.00 from Adorama

Summary:

Paid 7.50 for 15- sheet packs of 8.5 x 11 at Adorama. However, they no longer list it, so may be hard to find. This is incredible paper. The color matches the best I can get from Canon Photo Plus Glossy. The silky surface does not hide detail, in fact it intensifies it. This is marvelouse portrait paper and I also use it for fine art notecards.

Strengths:

Color fidelity, richness, d-max (blackness), surface finish, fast-dry, waterproof.

Weaknesses:

None

Summary:

THIS IS THE BEST SILKY INK JET PAPER OUT THERE!! Difficult to find in 4x6 which is what I like to use it for. I find it comparable yet better than the Epson Premium Luster Photo Paper (and cheaper). Dries fast and maintains color better than any glossy. Try it if you can get your hands on it.

Strengths:

Accurate color. Resists fading. Dries instantly

Weaknesses:

Hard to find. I'm not sure if they're even making it anymore in 4x6.

I always get a round of "Ahs" when using this paper with my old Epson 600 for portraits.

Summary:

I have a Canon s900. I have been looking for a matte finish paper. Konica is the only paper besides canon paper that has printed perfect in my printer. So far canon has not had a truly soft matte paper only a high gloss. Konica truly looks like a photo.

Strengths:

I did not have to make any special setting changes inmy printer setup. It is water proof like the canon paper but cheaper.
