Summary:

This is my third Epson printer so far the Epson 890. I have never had any problems with Epson apart from it being a bit thirsty for ink. Picture quality is excellent. It is still the best printer in the world!!!

Strengths:

Superb picture quality cant complain at all.

Weaknesses:

Thirsty for ink.

Similar Products Used:

HP but they are no way as good as Epson..

Customer Service:

Never had to communicate with Epson as never had any problems.

Summary:

ORANGE how come every page prints with crap colours. I've had this printer for over a year and will not spend anymore time,and money, messing about test printing on plain paper, cleaning heads etc. If anyone want's it, it's in my bin. I'm going to look for an HP tomorrow and I hope epson read web sites cos you've got a very dis-satisified customer. 0 out of 100 and I've loaded the latest drivers.

Strengths:

if you get a page out it's good

Weaknesses:

how much paper and ink can you afford to waste trying to get a good print

Summary:

I like the paper handling and photo quality output of the printer. Ink consumption is high and gets expensive, but all printers in this category are like that. I paid $289 2yrs ago. Epson has refurb'd units for $185 minus a $100 rebate. After two years of printing mine has a problem so I ordered an $85 unit from Epson.

Strengths:

Photo Quality. Paper handling.

Weaknesses:

Limited to 8.5" wide. Ink consumption and ink price.
