Review 1 of 8

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

Great photo printer with alot of options. The built in paper cutter makes printing group of photos a brease. This printer is a great for the professional photographer or the family that wants to print the family snap shots. The card reader make it very pratical for anyone. To use the roll paper does take a little reading of the manual. It does use alot of ink but the quality of the prints make up for it. This printer has made my life alot easier when I put my photos to paper.

Strengths:

Great photos Alot of options

Weaknesses:

Heavy ink consumption

Review 2 of 8

Price Paid:  $169.00 from Computer SHow

Summary:

Just purchased and very impressed with the quality compared to my slightly older HP. Wanted to let people know about a tool that will monitor you Ink levels so you can re-fill and save a buck or two. Go to ssclg.com and download the SSC Service Utility. You can trick the printer into thinking it's ink level is high and will never shut down the cartridge. It also will monitor each individual color so you know which one is low and needs to be filled. Purchase a refill kit, and save a few bucks. I just got it, but have heard it works great, so I am still testing.

Strengths:

Great Color and print quality

Weaknesses:

Uses a lot of ink which drives up cost. Slow.

Review 3 of 8

Price Paid:  $149.00 from PC World UK

Summary:

The photos this printer produces are stunning, colours are true to life. The quality more than compensates for heavy ink usage. Print the photos on Epsons photo paper roll, and the printer also cuts your prints to size. NEAT or what?

Strengths:

Photo Quality, You'd be hard pushed to find better.

Weaknesses:

Uses a lot of ink, but this printer throws down nearly 6000dpi, so it has to be a little heavy on ink consumption.

Review 5 of 8

Price Paid:  $150.00 from Fry's

Model Reviewed:
Epson Stylus 925

Summary:

I just bought this printer this past weekend to replace my HP 932c. The woman at FRY's who was an Epson rep, referred me to their line of products. I took this printer home and automatically jumped on to test it..I was blown away by how clear the prints were. It's kind of like owning a little peice of Kodak..Was originally going to buy the HP7550, but she talked me into this..saved me $150.00 SCORE!!!

Strengths:

GREAT Photo Quality, like the auto cut feature on the roll paper. It's d*** pretty, and great value.

Weaknesses:

I can't think of any...I'm not a photo guru, but this thing does everything for me..maybe print faster I guess. documents that is...getting ready to finish my BSIT degree and have lots of homework to print
