Summary:

I loved this printer! It worked great for printing black and white papers for classes, and full color "home" projects. This baby lasted four years before I finally decided it was time for a new one. I have decided to go with another Stylus (the C88) as I was so pleased with this brand.

Strengths:

Definately cost effective.

Weaknesses:

Color printing is rather slow, so not recommended for the impatient.

Customer Service:

I never required customer service for this product. The utilities provided always solved any snags I came across.

Summary:

this printer has been a got send, yes it uses ink like it's going out of fashion but i would always come back to using it. when it broke down the service price was very reasonable. i love this printer and i will be buying a new one.

speed is slower than what i would like.

Summary:

Agry with almost everyone that this is a very bad printer. Very expensive to use in the long run. It cartridg cost me around $28 and it print hardly 70 pages before it rain out. Dont buy this printer at all. Vrey ,very very bad.

Expensive to use, slow and noisy.

Summary:

Why I bought the c42 I really don't know. Prior to this I had the c40..the same printer but now uses chip tecnology to stop you refilling cartriges.. be warned.

Strengths:

superb photo quality at low price

Weaknesses:

chipped cartriges...major problem.cannot refill. if the color cartrige runs out and the black is full the printer won't work..

Summary:

Excellent printer, great quality. However, it goes through ink cartridges like theres no tomorrow. I would not recommend this printer. The lexmark Z605 is the same price and is 10 times better.

Strengths:

Good photo quality.

Weaknesses:

Slow, loud.
