from Epson Summary: I used to really believe in the quality of Epson printers. They provided quick, good quality prints at an affordable price. Not anymore. I bought this for my parents in January and it never worked properly. Wouldn't turn off, computer would scan but not print, had to continually unplug the machine and restart it. Epson's concept of printing contact sheets and photos without a computer is the WORST idea ever. Process is cumbersome, tedious, wastes ink and paper, and basically doesn't work. I sent it back to Epson under warranty and they had the audacity to replace the new CX5800F with a refurb CX5800F. After 2 hours with tech support, the refurb would finally print. Next time I'm buying Canon. Strengths: None Weaknesses: Poor quality construction, when it prints is prints sloooooowly, poor user interface Similar Products Used: Epson photo printers
Canon photo printers Customer Service: Epson sent out a refurbished 5800F to replace the first defective one. I was unhappy becuase I paid for a new printer (that works) and I received a refurbished printer. Customer service not helpful.
