H P Photosmart 100 Summary: This printer has really made all the difference to my digital photography, no longer are the photo's trapped in my computer. I can print off photos 6x4 for photo albums or to give away to family & friends.
I shoot with a Nikon digital camera & this partners very nicley with my camera or any other brand on the market.
You can hook it up to your computer then do image manipulation and print the output on this printer. Strengths: This printer is a stand alone unit not requiring a hook up to a computer. After reviewing the photo's on the cameras LCD screen, you make a note of the photo # them put the Compact flash, Memory stick or Smartmedia card into the slot enter the photo # and press the print button and the photo arrives in short order.
This unit is so small you can take it with you very easily on trips etc.
The biggest strength of this machine is it's easy to use, with no computer knowledge required. Weaknesses: It would be nice to have an LCD preview screen on the printer itself.Also a greater choice of papers would be nice HP offer 2 different grades, always use the better of the two.
