HP230 Summary: Had given up on HP products due to some service issues a few years ago. Was looking for a small, easy to use photo printer and the HP230 fits the bill. Small size so that it can be taken anywhere and have instant snapshot photos. This is very handy to travel with only a digital camera and the printer. Very easy to set up and use with memory cards that I haven't even tried to hook up to one of my computers yet. The color LCD screen works great and print quality is what you would expect... not quite lab quality but very good. The photo ink cartridge seems to last for close to 100 photos which I felt was very good value. Intuitive control buttons with zoom, borders and minor image correction. Strengths: Size, portability, ink value for number of prints, ease of use, ability to print without a computer. Weaknesses: Most shots need to be corrected slightly as they will be slightly overexposed. This may be a problem with the digital camera used as I have both a Nikon and Sony and the problem seems to be more with the Sony. It could use more border options and some on-board print options to add calendar, title options similar to the Sony snapshot printer. A little pricy for snapshot photos only. Doesn't have the ability to print multiple wallet size on the same sheet which is kind of a waste of paper. Similar Products Used: Canon B600
