Lexmark 4800

bought both the hp c7280 and the lex 4800. Could not install the HP even with their support. Same as Lexmark. Lexmark tech support was superb. They got it working right on a corrupted vista home premium. Reloaded the computer from a clean hard drive and went back and tried the hp c7280 again. This time it loads and worked. The Lexmark picture and color quality was better than the HP. I thought the HP was loaded ok because it worked fine, until I rebooted the computer and it would not boot until I unplugged the HP's USB cable. Uninstalled the HP and took it back. Lexmark is quality at an affordable price, and the wireless works flawless. Support is superb. HP has all kinds of driver conflicts with VISTA and othe loaded printers, and their support is terrible.

H.P: Terrible. They know about these problems and seem to not care.

This is a terrible printer,fotos come out with multicolored vertical lines and paper jams when there are just a few sheets of paper in the dispensing tray.
I returned it under warantee and the second printer also had the same problems, changed to an HP.
