Strength:

As excellent color as the Kodak counterpart, but is considerably simpler to balance and less susceptible to color shifts caused by tiny processing differences. In contrast to the majority of other Fuji transparency films, the colors and contrast are accurate and not exaggerated. | Atlanta Drywall Contractors

Strength:

I find I can't get a good grip on it at times and that the top of my hand contacts with the main baseplate holding the camera when it is in the horizontal position. The screw mount mechanism for mounting the camera is also in an awkward spot and is somewhat hard to grip at times. Gainesville Semi Truck Air Brake Service

What?

Made some beauty shots with this film last weekend under tungsten lighting. The results are absolutely stunning. This film is unbelievably sharp and the colours are dead on.

Strength:

As good color as found in Kodak equivalent, but much easier to balance and less prone to color fluctuations due to slight variations in processing. Unlike most other Fuji transparency films, colors and contrast are truthful, not exagerated a bit.

Weakness:

Sorry, none found in RTP or RTP II, as the ASA 64 is no deal with tungsten.

Truely a great product that makes me wonder why Fuji does not manufacture a similar film daylaight balanced, ie. one with true color graduation, suitable where color has to be as faithful as possible to the original, as in the catalog works I have to shoot.

Strength:

Sharp, sharp, sharp. Did I mention it is sharp?

Weakness:

Slow, but so what?

A friend gave me two rolls of 64T that he bought for 25 cents a piece at a flea market. The film was out of date since 1997. He said, "See what you get out of these." I shot a test roll under 3400K lights of various colorful and contrasty subjects and metered with a grey card. The results? Wow. Deep, saturated reds, blues and yellows. No color shift at all. And this is from film that has been out of date for three years, and kept under God Knows What kind of conditions. Great film.

I've been using this film to record the finished result of recording studios I've designed. The rooms have a lot of different surface finishes, from fabrics and traditional woods to tree-bark panels and large glass windows. The rooms are also furnished with, of course, lots of electronic equipment - recording consoles, tape recorders, computers and monitors. These are tricky environments to photograph, and always require long time exposures to keep the lens in its range of optimal performance (and leaning toward longer depth-of-field). Fuji 64T has performed beautifully, returning truly striking results with a great degree of resolution and a high degree of color accuracy. The images also feel nice, which is important, isn't it? I haven't tried the alternative, Kodak's 64 asa tungsten film, but I sure like what the Fuji does. Too bad they don't make a daylight slide or print film that feels this natural and behaves itself so nicely.
