Lots of room, durability, easy access when mounted on shoulder. AW cover fits very well and is easy to use.

Corners need 2 hands to zip, overpadded strap makes bag tip over. Lid straps are not adjustable. Not many options to mount optional accessories offered from Lowepro.

This is a great bag with tons of space. I can use the bag for both weddings and wildlife photography. It cleans up easy and is a compiment to my gear.

I really like the layout of this bag. I previously owned the Magnum AW (same layout just a smaller verion of this bag). I had to switch to this bag when I started buying AF lenes and equipment as the AF lenses are fatter. This bag is almost too big, but I like the fact I can fit everything I own and then some in it. I had to go on ebay to find the older version of this bag as i don''t like the new one. Mine has the lens storage area laid out in a "6-pack" style with the lens cradle on top and room for a body on each side. I consider this more of a "location" bag where you would haul your equiment to the location and set it down and grab equipment as needed. It just seems to heavy to work out of with it on the shoulder, I have smaller bags for that.

A good sized bag, for 2 of everything (Canon 35 mm, metz 60, 4 lenses, etc, etc) that I carry on what I call people shoots - weddings, social events, corporate events etc.

A large bag not really suited to the casual photographer - gets a bit heavy and cumbersome after a full days shoot.

Good, solid bag if you need to lug lots of gear around.

this was my first big bag and I only wanted to buy it once.

I like this bag because it.s large enough to carry all of my cameras and accessories . Also the bag is well constructed as well as being water resistant.

I have not expirenced any problems with this bag in the years that i have owned it.

This is a good Pro - Am bag for the photographer who has lot of equipment to carry . Although , when fully loaded it can be somewhat cumbersome.

BIG BAG! Very easy to carry a lot more than is really comfortable..solid construction, flexible interior padding.

Capacity - It's THE bag to use if you have to bring ALL your 35mm gear when travelling.
Build - After two years of travel use it shows no signs of wear other than a few scuff marks. All seams, zippers and other significant points of stress are completely intact. I suspect you could tote bricks in this bag w/o any problems.
Size - If not crammed full it will compress enough to satisfy carry-on restrictions of most airlines. LowePro does not advertise it as a carry-on compliant bag but I have taken it many times (In case you are curious, I'm not the kind of person to show up at the gate with 2 obviously oversize carry-ons and proceed to bullsh*t with the stewardess to get them in the cabin).
Weather protection - This really works well in a downpour,
easy to use and can be put in place in seconds.
Cosmetic styling - Discreet appearance. If you are not a photographer you will most likely not be able to tell what is inside this bag. Nice clean look that fits in just about anywhere.

Dividers - I find the dividers to be a bit shortcoming. They are too small, and should have had more velcro attachment surfaces.
Depending on your equipment configuration it can be like solving a 500 piece puzzle when trying to arrange everything so it is fully accessible.
Carrying comfort - While the waist belt certainly helps,
this bag is too heavy to carry comfortably over long distances when packed completely full of gear.
For trips where I will be traverseing distances by foot for a long period of time I bring my MiniTrekker along and transfer the camera gear needed that day from the Commercial AW. If the weather is especially bad, I'll do the opposite and transfer the gear not needed into the Minitrekker and hike with the Commercial AW instead.

Roomy,will haul the kitchen sink and then some.
Travels well and easy to work out of when properly divided.
Not the bag to take fully packed to a location accesible only by foot or bicycle, unless you hire somebody to carry it for you!
It's an excellent working bag that can be used for hiking and biking if not loaded too heavily.

Called to ask about the dividers, and they sent free samples of other dividers that might work better for me. You can buy single dividers from LowePro if necessary, they will not take back the dividers that came with the bag unless there are manufacturing problems present.
