Strength:

Very good bag; Good padding, nice looks.

Weakness:

Pro-SLR's (15 cm height) will not fit.

Unfortunately the Omni-Pro bag does not seem to deliver its promisses: a modern Pro-SLR (like the Nikon F5) with attached lens will not fit; you just cannot close the main-zipper!! Too bad...... I had to return mine. Hope that LowePro will come with a "deeper" version soon.

Strength:

Generous space; side-loading (like a brief-case) means you can get to EVERYTHING easily. Top zipper compartment provides easy access to body and a few lenses/accessories quickly.

Weakness:

None so far

I wanted a bag that would hold two bodies, several lenses, flashes, a few rolls of film, cords, filters, and a small digital camera. The traditional bags in this size were large enough that I felt I would be knocking people over with it if it were slung from my shoulder. This bag, which has a shape and footprint most closely resembling a large laptop computer case, carries these items in a more "vertical" orientation, this reducing the overall outward buldge. Opening from the large side (like an attache case) via zipper allows easy access to the entire contents, while unzipping the top end panel, allows very quick access to just the body (with semi-long mounted lens), as well as a few other accessories without having to put the bag down. Ample dividers are configurable via traditional velcro attachment. There is one outside pocket large enough to hold a couple rolls of film, some pens and note cards, and a cell phone, and a few external and internal flat zippered pockets for papers and other flat items.

It's a novel configuration approach for a camera bag, and I have quickly developed an affection for it.
