Strength:

Well made. Accepts all Tamrac MAS and SAS accessories.

Weakness:

None so far.

Excellent choice if a lighter load is needed! I own a large Lowepro Nova bag which currently holds 2 SLR bodies, 5 lenses, a dozen Cokin filters, adapters, screw-in filters, flash, batteries, blah, blah, blah.... It''s a great bag, but once it''s completely loaded, it''s HEAVY. This Tamrac 517 is perfect for 1 body with lens attached. If it''s not a huge lens, there''s room to stash another lens in the bottom. Plenty of room for a few filters, extra batteries, and film. I do a lot of outdoor/wildlife photos and this back is perfect. Light load for hiking. Fast retrieval of equipment. Only complaint...A little more padding in the shoulder strap would be nice.

I bought this bag as my main storage while on day trips during vacations. It works great! I used it at Disneyworld with my N70 and Nikon 80-200 2.8, with up to six rolls of film, and it was a breeze to carry.

Strength:

It is a great holster bag with enough room for an 80-200/2.8 lens. It is made of Cordura and can except MAS accessories.

Weakness:

Nope. None so far.

A big, strong holster bag that works if you only need to carry around one or two lenses with you.

I use this bag a my primary Nikon N90 with 80-300mm telephoto, Sunpak flash, batteries and 2 or 3 rolls of film. The shoulder strap keeps the holster right where I need it. The black color looks as good today as the day I bought it. I plan to get another Tamrac (515) for my N65 with 50mm.

Customer Service

Never needed them.
