3016 3-Section Monopod
Strength:
Light and sturdy. For a 35 mm camera and heavy lens it works fine. Good value for a high quality product.
Weakness:
none I bought this with a 3026 ballhead and a monopod shoulder support arm. This is a good, lightweight solution to shooting with slow shutter speeds without getting too much camera shake. I use it less now that I have an IS lens, but it is still valuable in low light situations where I want to maximize sharpness but can't (or don't want to) use a flash. The whole thing, monopod, ballhead (with quick release plate!) and shoulder brace was less than $100. Customer Service not used Similar Products Used: none |

3016 3-Section Monopod
Strength:
Light weight at 1.3lbs. Easy one finger open section locks. Foam grip at top of unit.
Weakness:
None I chose this unit for it's max height of 63". I prefered this three section model to the 4 section model because it feels stronger to me. I topped it off with the 3229 quick release swivel head. which adds about 1/2lb. of weight, but gives you the versitiliy of using two camera bodies by purchasing an additional quick relase base plate.
