Nothing really very important, except that the viewfinder LEDs can be all but impossible to read in bright light. Well, no, let's face it, they're just impossible. i got this bogen 3221 tripod legs combines with bogen 3226 head from ebay for 75$ used in very good condition, dont know what to tell you'all, its a perfect pro tripod set up..the build quality is simple awesome..very sturdy, and all adjustable features..i tighten up all screws before i use it..its so solid, well made and design..the head is even better..solid and very smooth to pan around, its a real pro gear..im a 5'6" man, and this tripod when fully extends is way over my head..strongly suggest anyone , if you can get it used, buy it, its worths every dime you put in it..bogen made in italy, the name to trust..i use it with my fuji s2 pro and 2 tokinas atx lenses, and this set up is heavy, but with bogen 3221 its not a single problem at all.i also use it with my older panasonic older proline video cam corder too..performance is rock solid.

3120 Quick set up fairly maintanence free It a keeper for light work.

This tripod really needs to come with two center columns one short and one long. You can't get low to the groung unless you take the tripod column out and go sideways. IT does not handle large lens well 500 F.4.5 You will see softness in you photos. The lower legs feel springy to me

I have used this product for over three years. I have found it flexible and sets up quickly. I recently found a Giottos MT8170 Carbon fiber Tripod for $269 at Adorama This tripond claims it can hold 26 lbs! It's replacing the 3120 in use with my large lenses and gimbal mount. It has many more features than the 3120, but is more complicated. it comes with a tools box! An example why you need tools? you can take apart the center column and go all the way to the ground

Ok the airline threw my tripod and I needed new plastic feet. The legs went all the threw the plastic

- beautiful finish - smooth action - L-shaped base plate swivels in a multitude of angles

- some design flaws as mentioned above - When base-plate is swivelled over and camera is hanging, puts to much pressure on and tends to slip. - Knobs are hard to grip under certain conditions

GITZO G 1275 ball head I've used this ball head for over five years and have recently decided that it is just not suitable for the equipment I'm using. As well it has some design flaws which make it difficult to operate easily. I'm shooting a lot now with an EOS 3 and 70-200 2.8. Usually with a motor drive attached; sometimes a 2x extender as well. It just can't take the weight without slipping. And that's mounted from the tripod collar on thelens. Even when I'm shooting macro with my 100 2.8 and tubes, tripod mounted under the camera, I'm getting slippage. As well the knurls on the large, main nob are not knurled deep enough to allow for a decent grip when trying to loosen it from a tight setting. I find I can't get a good grip on it at times and that the top of my hand contacts with the main baseplate holding the camera when it is in the horizontal position. The screw mount mechanism for mounting the camera is also in an awkward spot and is somewhat hard to grip at times. On the up side the finish is beautiful and tough. Kind of a mottled grey/black with a very tough plasticized finish. No nicks as of yet! It also has a numbered rotation scale on the base.

Sturdy build quality very tall, I.m 6'4" and I don't need the center raised.

Very nice! VERY sturdy tripod. I was suprised by the weight. Not a good tripod to carry, but if you want something to not move than this is the one for you. Awesome build quality. probably overkill for anything less than a super tele or medium format. But better to have more than you need rather than not enough.
