Strength:
Compact, simple, looks good
Weakness:
Can''t hold heavy stuff (>5lbs) I was not please with this head. I bought it along with a studex tripod (very happy with that- great for hiking) for use with a Nikon d1 and several 2.8 lenses. The ball could not stay tight when used with my Tamron 28-105 2.8, which is admittedly heavy. In short, for the amount of money Gitzo askes, there is no excuse for this mediocre performer.
