Summary:

Solid, Stable, Heavy. Everything you could want in a studio or location tripod.

Strengths:

Rock solid platform. I use this with both 35mm and digital available light photos in a studio. Long exposures are made simple by using a cable release or my camera self timer. This tripod can't be beat for lengthy exposures with its stability. Excellent geared column. Reaches to eye level without using the column.

Weaknesses:

Heavy. Not a real weakness unless you have to carry it a long way. It fits real well in the back of a pickup.

Summary:

This is my non-travelling tripod. If portabality is not an issue these legs provide a solid platform in relation to the money spent. I even bought mine used, which makes this a bargain.It will be used to hold 35mm and a 6x4.5 medium format system.

Strengths:

Sturdy, good height without raising centre column.Great value.

Weaknesses:

None thus far
