Review 1 of 3

Summary:

This is a really well-made, rock-solid tripod that will steady a mounted camera properly, even with the tubes nearly fully extended. Compared to a similar Slik model (lightweight, but a toy by comparison), the Bogen really works. The only downside is that it weighs a ton, and I don't think I could really carry it anywhere hiking without stroking out. Mated with a quick-release ball head, it's just a pleasure to use, and should last many years.

Very well made. Excellent.

Strengths:

Solid

Weaknesses:

Heavy
