3016 3-Section Monopod Summary: I bought this with a 3026 ballhead and a monopod shoulder support arm. This is a good, lightweight solution to shooting with slow shutter speeds without getting too much camera shake. I use it less now that I have an IS lens, but it is still valuable in low light situations where I want to maximize sharpness but can't (or don't want to) use a flash. The whole thing, monopod, ballhead (with quick release plate!) and shoulder brace was less than $100. Strengths: Light and sturdy. For a 35 mm camera and heavy lens it works fine.
