Bottom Line: Given the low price compared to other quality tripods, here my comments:
solid built, practically 0 mechanical play on all adjustable axis, doesn't flex once set
into position. Cast Alu head parts make system heavy enough, though not excessive
for handling.
Ease of use 10 out of 10, legs extend flawless, individual leg can be positioned horizontal so only two legs are on floor, 3rd leg leaning on vertical or other surface.
Takes Manfrodo quick release plates !
Rotation positions landscape and portrait have 30 deg. pos. marks for quick and easy set ups.
Comes with carry bag of heavy cordura and and shoulder pad.
Not having touched nor worked with multi $ 100 trip pods - I give this one a 9.5 rating out of 10.
Duration Product Used: 6-10 years
Price Paid:
$90.00
Purchased At: Sportsman's Warehous
Type of photography: Outdoor
