What can one say about FEISOL. Well this user says - "Swwweeeet!" Imagine a full size tripod, capable of establishing a working platform for up to 14 pounds of gear. Feisol's Traveler Tripod CT-3441, with a Center post weight hook, the CB-30C Ballhead, and QP-1444750 quick release mount. Carbon Steel - extremely lightweight and best of all about 22 inches folded down and stored in the supplied tripod bag.

As a frequent air traveler, the most difficult element to carry with me is a TRIPOD. I scoured the internet high and low and sought out the best formula for strength, height, stability and features.

A kind gentleman saved me the pain last year at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. I watched this man - he was WELL over 6 feet in height - remove from his backpack a small black case and was amazed to see him quickly erect a tripod to a working height of over 5 feet in height. He saw me admiring his tripod and once we were done with the shot sequence he offered to let me lift the tripod. Wow - this thing weighs NOTHING. The foundation of stability is increased substantially when hanging a camera bag on the center post hook (provided). I was also hooked - A Feisol user.

Customer Service

Feisol sells and services their entire line. This is a quality unit, and with good personal care and use - I don't believe I will EVER have to contact Feisol again. Feisol also provides a pair of Allen Wrenches should the need ever arise.
