from Larue.com Summary: Overall I'd have to rate this Monopod an excellent value. Built to last with positive locking twist locks. Can accept 3/8 or 1/4 threads. Very nice heavyduty feel to the foam rubber grip. I use it for hiking, as it weighs 1.3lbs. folds very compact and will do what a tripod will in 70% of situations. Strengths: Strong
