from Friend Summary: Gitzo has redefined their place at the top end in the market with the introduction of this series. Light, super strong, and easy to use. If you've got the cash/need for a high end tripod for all but the most professional of work, I strongly suggest you look into the 1027 carbon. Strengths: Superior craftmanship
