Model Reviewed: G120 Sport Performance with Rapid Column Summary: A good tripod of excellent quality. It's more than twice as expensive as my Bogen 3021, which is easier to use and considerably more stable. The Gitzo at full extension is quite vibration prone. Use it at the least extension you can get by with. It is sleek when folded and packs well without snagging everything around, but that's the only significant advantage of the Gitzo leg locks. Strengths: Can last a long, long time. I've had mine for more than 20 years. Sleek when folded, easy to schlepp around. Weaknesses: Gizo twist grips... slow to use and sometimes stubborn, particularly in the cold. Not quite beefy enough to be solid with slr equipment. Expensive. Similar Products Used: None
