Strengths:    -- inexpensive
-- light
-- adaptable
-- has a tiny, quick-release mounting plate that can be locked to tripod
-- can be used as a toy in situations of emergency boredom

Weaknesses:    -- wouldn't put anything other than a little point-and-shoot camera on it

Bottom Line:
Tiny, featherweight, infinitely adaptable, this little gorillapod will allow you to use any imaginable object or surface as a mount for your point-and-shoot. I have used it on car roofs, fence rails, tree limbs, handlebars and rafters. Weighs about as much as an energy bar and fits into a cyclist's jersey pocket almost as easily.

P.S. I'm an actual consumer (not a corporate shill)

I am now looking forward to my first opportunity to use my new Gorillapod! The Gorillapod ... Read More »
