from Long's drugs Summary: Very disappointed. Had spent a lot of time looking for the right underwater camera and had been impressed with ELPH picture quality, so bought it instead of the $100 Minolta Vectis Extreem. The underwater quality was no better than disposables, with a much worse viewfinder, too small and glares in bright light. Hoped to use it as a general beach camera as well, but the picture quality was disappointing with poor contrast. Probably good for occassional beach going, hiking, etc, but not for regular divers/snorkelers. Changing film on the beach too hard with need to keep innards and gasket dry and sand-free. Strengths: Nice looking Weaknesses: Disappointing picture quality, The viewfinder is terrible under water, the macro feature takes away from getting spontaneous shots and didn't notice much benefit. design looks strong but dripped water insdie when opening once and the camera completely quit working Similar Products Used: disposable underwater cameras Customer Service: have not yet contacted
