Very disappointed. Had spent a lot of time looking for the right underwater camera and had been impressed with ELPH picture quality, so bought it instead of the $100 Minolta Vectis Extreem. The underwater quality was no better than disposables, with a much worse viewfinder, too small and glares in bright light. Hoped to use it as a general beach camera as well, but the picture quality was disappointing with poor contrast. Probably good for occassional beach going, hiking, etc, but not for regular divers/snorkelers. Changing film on the beach too hard with need to keep innards and gasket dry and sand-free. Strengths:
