from Newegg Summary: Nice little camera for playing around with the kids and has A/V inputs so I can attach helmet cams for mountain bike adventures. Kids love to watch videos of themselves doing goofy things. We'll probably convert old camcorder tapes to digital with this mini -dv cam. Strengths: •Small and easy to carry

•Well constructed Weaknesses: Noisy. Not just when recording -- it's noisy enough to hear it when turned on. Noise is picked up in recording in quiet areas. Don't purchase if you regularly video in quiet areas. Similar Products Used: It's my first DV camcorder. Have used Sony camcorders in the past. Customer Service: Not used
