Summary:

The Canon i550 has prove itself to be an all-around printer. Not only that it can print test fast, good photos, but it can also print Bordeless photos!

Strengths:

-good photo quality -fast and crisp text printing -Borderless printing -individual ink cartridges -both USB and parallel compatible -excellent overall owner cost

Weaknesses:

-a bit noisy

Summary:

Very good prin quality for the price. Ink cost is very low, uses individual ink tanks. I have printed a lot and has used very little ink. I like how you can set it to turn itself on when you print something and to turn itself off after certain idle times. Defently wort the price.

Excelent print quality, quick, low ink costs, many features

non so far.

Summary:

Compared to my old BJC-610, I am disappointed in only one thing--I have to clean the print head every other time I want to print something. The ink seems to dry out. This is a nuisance and probably uses a lot of ink unnecessarily.

Summary:

The printer came with great easy to use software. The quality of the photos was very disapointing. The richness was missing in the photos that I printed. I called customer support and they were not able to help me with better quality. I am considering returning it. Anyone else have a good story on this one?

Strengths:

Quiet, fast

Weaknesses:

Photos print with a faded look. The contrast is not present.

Summary:

This is very nice printer. It print photo quality picture (board or boardless, no difference from photo lab film color print) and very good text. It is quite. I use it once a week, no need to clean print head. You don't have to use Canon paper, I use Epson and got good picture.

Strengths:

Output quality; Easy to setup; Price.

Weaknesses:

Bundled software make the printing job really easy. but have limited function.
