from Camera World website Summary: This camera has the most annoyingly slow shutter of any any point and shoot camera that I have used. You have to press half way to focus (which it does rather slowly) and there is a lag between when you press down all the way and when the camera fires. The picture image sharpness is average to below average. Every once in a while, some shots would be incorrectly exposed. Attempted to ask questions using the website and received no response and had to call customer service. Initial contact was extremely poor since they tried to contribute everything to user error and they were rude. Had to insist in dealing with the supervisor. Sent camera in for testing and proved that metering mechanism was defective. Would not purchase Canon again. Strengths: Compact size Weaknesses: Shutter very slow to fire, inconsistent results Similar Products Used: Ricoh, Pentax Customer Service: The online website was basically useless. Initial contact with customer service was poor, needed to resolve issues with the supervisor.
