Summary:

Look elsewhere.

Strengths:

Relatively easy to use.

Weaknesses:

Good for stills. Image capture time too slow for most "action" photos. Older camera...showing age. Better, cheaper cameras available. Low battery life. Difficult to reset to factory settings.

Review 2 of 4

Summary:

This is my first digital camera. I bought it as a re-conditioned unit for about $100 less than new. I had one problem with it (battery leaked and affected the operation) and returned it to Casio for repair. Repair was satisfactory and with reasonable time. The camera takes pictures well but the quality is fair as one would expect from a camera that has 640x480 pixel resolution. The controls are easy to use and the upload/download software is good but could be better. My next camera will be a higher quality model. If you want an inexpensive camera, this is ok but I would not recommend this camera to a serious photographer.

Strengths:

Reasonable Price Easy to Use Swivel Lens Macro storage ability for pictures

Weaknesses:

low Pixel count short battery life too much time to process each picture

None

Customer Service:

Very good

Summary:

I have used this camera through a friend, thank God I didn't buy it. This camera doesn't have a flash, this is a HUGE problem if you don't have alot of lighting. It has a switch on the side to change from light and dark, this is a JOKE! I took some pictures at a birthday party indoors with all room lights on. The pictures looked a little dark on the LCD but still OK. When I uploaded them to my laptop - WOW - all I had was 34 pictures of black nothingness. I tried to lighten with the software provided and got - WOW - 34 lighter pictures of nothingness. I would show you some samples but I think theirs enough junk on the Internet already.

Summary:

This camera is fine for outdoors but it does not have a flash for indoors. I also have a problem with the LCD lense. It is great for reviewing what you have taken but to look through in the sunlight is like looking at a tv outside. I don't understand why they don't make a camera you look through a normal lense but review on the LCD lense. It also eats batteries. It is very good as far as the amount of pictures it will hold before you download. If it just had a flash I would be happy with it.
