from EBAY Summary: WOW! The quality of light coming from the EL's is nothing short of awesome! I bought 4 for general use on the side, and have found that these can be used in nearly ANY situation. While the 500 watt rating on the EL500's may seem low compared to a White Lightning 1800, the EL's are noticeably brighter. Even the 250's are brighter than the Dynalite 400's. Remember, WS is a measure of INPUT power, not output. The EL's are incredibly efficient. Borrow some, rent some, and you'll agreee. For the price point, you can't get anything better. And for sports? Even without the "R" models (ultrafast duration), they freeze action far better than even the industry standard Speedo 2401's. Strengths: Bright
