    Review 3 of 34

    Price Paid:  $269.00 from Dell

    Summary:
I bought a Nikon 2100 Coolpix and took it back after 2 days. I had given up hope that a camera could take clear pictures with a high zoom. I was blown away by the clarity of the pictures fully zoomed. Not only the best 2.0 megapixel camera I've ever tried, but one of the best digital camera I've ever tried. I love it!

    Strengths:
*picture quality *8compact *6x zoom *clarity

    Weaknesses:
*dark lcd screen in dim lighting *certain lighting conditions may produce darker pics

    Customer Service:
    Haven't needed it.

    Review 5 of 34

    Price Paid:  $379.00 from Walmart

    Summary:
Bought the camera for my wife for Christmas. Just automatic enough for her and not too complicated to use. 6X zoom is nice. Has an average battery life. Viewfinder is hard to use in low light. Overall OK quality of photos.

    Strengths:
    6X zoom, light weight

    Weaknesses:
One weakness I have noticed is that the camera does not have an option to renew/cont the name of pictures as you take them. The camera always starts with number 0001 each time you put in a new or different card. This makes it hard to copy photos into the same folder with other photos on your computer. You would have to rename all the files to copy them into the same folder as previous files. My old Fuji MX-1200 has a renew/cont setting to keep naming the pictures in order and not duplicate a file name. THIS IS A MAJOR WEAKNESS FOR ANYONE THAT TAKES MANY PHOTOS.
