This combination allows the consumer the usual advantages of high speed film along with the ability to reproduce remarkably vivid and accurate colors.
Nexia 800 is the ideal choice of film for low light, fast action photographs as well as non-flash photography.
Summary: Since it's the only one availabe, I hope you like green. It's been out two years and no change. But we still don't have a Kodak 800. They've redone their entire 35mm line twice, but they haven't touched Advantix.
It's a solid 3, maybe 3.5. Fix the color balance and it's an easy 4.
Strengths: This is a decent film, with excellent grain. Maybe better granularity than Kodak 400. It's also the only player in the game.
Weaknesses: This is not a very well balanced film. Day or night, indoors or out, flash or natural light. All have a green tint. Really green. If you have a good relationship with the developer, they might correct it. And don't use it in bright sunlight! It overexposes very easily. If all I have is 800, then I change the camera so it thinks it's 400 or even 200, depending on how bright the sun is. But then you have to remember to switch it back indoors. It's easier to carry extra film and do MRC.

Summary: This film from a technical standpoint is great...the grain is quite acceptable when you consider it's a 25mm negative at an 800 ISO speed.
And the speed is another thing...its' the only 800 ISO speed APS film out there, and that's unfortunate. I could use the higher speed, my tiny Fuji Nexia camera has a tiny flash, so using a high speed film is not an option.
Anyway, the colors are quite strong to be sure, sometimes a little too much so, but I'll get to that. Great sharpness, and the high contrast helps on landscape/scenery pics and whatnot.
However I dont like it when using it for pictures of friends and family. The skintones just come out awful on this film, and I find the same problem with the 200/400 Nexia films too.
I prefer Kodak Advantix by a longshot, even if it is alot grainier. Aside from that, under the same conditions, using the same camera, and developing at the same lab, there's no comparison. Grab Kodak instead. Now if only their 35mm films were that good...

Summary: What can you say about a film...........that is just so darn good! Load this film into your camera, shoot, develop, be amazed. If you ask me, at 4x6 prints and panoramic size prints it can match any 400 speed APS film, and even some 200 speed APS fims, in grain, resolution, sharpness, and overall quality. It only pales slightly to lower speed APS films in color, where it is slightly less saturated. But it is still great for all colors where it exhibits an excellent color gamut.
It is a great film for use at anytime.
Strengths: 1. High resolution.
2. Low grain.
3. Fast speed.
4. Great color, especially for its speed.
5. Can sometimes be found on sale
because Kodak has imprinted that
they are the best film into so many
people's minds, and they don't even
have an 800 speed APS film in the
US.
Weaknesses: A great film like this has no weakness.

Summary: My favorite APS film for shooting indoor performances with no flash allowed. Unfortunately, my local Target store is the only place near me that carries the film.
I shot several roles using Kodak 400, Fuji 400, and Fuji 800 at my daughter's ballet recital. Based on my results, I prefer the Fuji 800 APS the best. Fuji did a great job with this film. The colors were vibrant and sharp (I'm using a Canon EOS IX w/ 55-200 Canon lens). This film met my expectations and is the film I always use for low light conditions.
Hopefully more places will start supplying this product. I may be stuck ordering online if Target stops selling it.
Strengths: Best APS film for indoor performances.
Weaknesses: Limited availability.
