Review 1 of 11

Price Paid:  $147.00 from Wal-Mart

Summary:

This is a good camera, especially for up close shots where it's clear and vibrant. I definitely recommend this if you are just going to be using it for fun; taking pictures of yourself etc. Hobbyists, pass this one up.

Strengths:

Up-close shots are detailed and colorful. The flash is good. It's built like a more expensive camera.

Weaknesses:

Not good for hobbyists who want to take pictures far away (landscapes etc).

Customer Service:

Haven't needed it.

Review 2 of 11

Price Paid:  $0.00 from Gift

Summary:

Simply put and in the most straight forward, point blank fashion possible: Children 12 and under: Perfect, it takes pictures allows you to view them, print them, send them. You'll have nothing to complain about because you wont know any better. 13 and up: Don't buy this camera. To the man with the '4 CYLINDER' comment, you're 100% correct. This camera is under powered and inconvienent for people who know what they are doing.

Strengths:

It's light weight, honestly can take decent photos, and is extremely simple to use. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, this is the camera to buy for your little Jenny or Johnny's 10th birthday.

Weaknesses:

The software lacks even the most basic modification options. Resizing, for one, cannot be done with the kodak software provided. If you want to use this camera, and again it does take DECENT pictures. I suggest you have another graphic editing program. IE: Macromedia Firewords, or ADOBE Photoshop.

Review 3 of 11

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

Bought this for taking pics for any occasion. Wanted a camera just for taking pics without the need to develop it, while at the same time wanted to have clear pics, clear enough to be printed or sent for developing.

Strengths:

Ease of use, good quality images for a 2.0mp digicam, using the docking station makes connectivity to the comp even easier. pics can be viewed as thumbnails in a 3x3 view before zooming into the pic, up to 4x zooming while reviewing the pics taken.

Weaknesses:

the LCD screen is a little dark. while previewing on the LCD screen, it can be quite hard to make out what is in the range of capture. only 2x digital zoom. slow processing time for viewing pics.

Review 5 of 11

Price Paid:  $200.00 from Carsand Mosher

Summary:

I think this is a great little camera for the price. It is easy to use and has more options than most people would ever use. It delivers great pics and will print up to an 8 x 10 with great color, clarity & crispness. I highly recommend the Dock II {comes with rechargeable battery!!} as it makes uploading pics very simple as well as charges your battery at the same time. Great camera for a fairly low price.

Strengths:

Easy to use. Lots of features you would expect on more expensive cameras. Memory card available. Easy Share Camera Dock II makes downloading pics a breeze.

Weaknesses:

Bit of lag time between pics for processing - not really a big deal but it is noticeable especially if you are clicking away. Only 2X Zoom {just have to get closer to your subject & fill your frame}.
