Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

This is a great camera. It is a fixed focus camera though, so limit the close ups. The battery has a very long life and the pictures are stunning. Since it is fixed focus, there is no annoying lag when pressing the shutter button, and the picture is captured immediately. The size is perfect for the shirt pocket and the included case will protect the camera in case you drop it (I know from experience...)

Strengths:

color rendition, capture speed, battery life, size, included case, I purchased the wall charger unit and that is just GREAT

Weaknesses:

Don't like where the wrist strap fastens. It is on the left and if the camera starp is put on your right hand, it is always upside down when you go to use the camera.

Similar Products Used:

HP215, Kodak DX6490

Customer Service:

Ordered extra battery and wall charger from Kodak Direct (has since been closed by Kodak) - was shipped fast and service was great

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

Not a bad little unit. I bought it for work as I occasionally come across the odd celebrity and bought this to take advantage og these times. Nice and small, reasonably fast start-up time and SOOO EASY to drive. Even some of the girls I work with (I'm a flight attendant) can operate it. Only has digital zoom (3X) but fot snapshots it's excellent.

Strengths:

Size. Comes with everything: docking station, software, USB gear - everything. Nice tough case. Incredibly easy to use. Attractive looking. Software is fun to use once you work it out.

Weaknesses:

Flash is too far off-centre from the lens so you can end-up with bad shadowing effects. No battery life indicator (Not a big problem). Software a little funny to drive. Normal digital zoom hassels.

Similar Products Used:

Sony CoolPix. (Too big and bulky, but was optical zoom).
