Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $299.00 from EBAY

Summary:

Descent camera, 4megapix only... SUCKS! Why?
1. If you conenct it to TV, you see a window inside of the screen like if you would have 640x480 res with 1024x768 screen. That way you will see everything - Menu, Still pictures, Movie, - Everything!
2. Camera can not be used as usb storage device, even as read only! Without thonns of MB of kodak software installed, it is a dead brick, connected to the USB port, even for Windows XP. What it means? Say, if you have a friend with Laptop or Desktop, and you would like to "easy share" picture with him, you connect your cam to USB and - guess what? NO WAY you will be able to do that!
3. WiFi camera... OK, your friend has a wireless router, you think you will be able to drop the picture? NO WAY untill you install Kodak Software on his (!) computer, again!
4. OK, you just bought this camera... think your friend can read your SD card with his SD reader? NO WAY, 256MB that nicely comes with this camera is HARD CORE BUILT IN and again, can not be accessed without all Kodak Easyshare software installed to your friends computer!!
EASY SHARE??? Give me a break!
Basically, after all above it is not worth to talk about quality of this product.
Now I have to find out how to get rid of it. Anyone Wants it??? Let me know!
Thanks for your time.

Strengths:

WiFi. Large 3 inch screen.

Weaknesses:

see above.
